Hello! :)
Well, here I am, trying to compose one of the most important letters in my entire life maybe... I clearly realize that introducing myself now will probably define my future later, so it's not easy to make up my mind and choose the right words. I don’t really know what people usually say to draw attention to their profiles, so I've thought of many issues to discuss here. But the only thing that comes to my mind right now is to tell you the truth about my search and my goals.
Probably, I should have talked more about my strengths or how nice I am but I guess I'll have plenty of time for that later. Oh, and I've also thought that boasting too much might scare my one-and-only! Still, I hope you'll give me a chance with this non-standard letter.
You know, some ladies think they need a fairy tale prince to make them happy. Well, first of all I'm NOT looking for a prince, billionaire or a movie star, and I'm not trying to trick anyone here either. All my goals are simple and easy to understand, I hope.
I would like to find a MAN who believes in the "conservative" meaning of the word "man". I'm looking for a man who has a clear understanding of his own desires and needs but who is also able to have respect, understanding and loyalty to his spouse, who isn't afraid of becoming the head of a family, the defender and the strong one in our relationship, someone who is mature enough to achieve something on his own, to know what he wants to achieve and what he is capable of and behave according to that. I would like to find a man I could TRUST because that's the only way for our marriage to avoid uncertainty and move forward with confidence every day. It may sound somewhat abstract, but nowadays we see tons of sugary boys who live with their parents well into their 30th or even 40th. I'm sorry but those guys as well as alcoholics, drug users and women abusers are not welcome here!
I should probably also confess that I hope to become a housewife and let my spouse take care of the financial side of our family. Please don't get me wrong: it's not because I don't want to work or I can't earn a living (I have a degree and I'm smart enough to have a well-paid job). Hey, I'm not some marriage speculator or a lazy parasite either! :) It's just because I'm absolutely sure that the true role of a woman is taking care of her family and home, and I don't want to spend my life in an office instead. I hope to put my best efforts into taking care of my family and share as many great moments with my loved ones as possible. In short, I prefer to do the old-fashioned "female" work (and I will try real hard to do my best, that's for sure!). In fact, I’m planning to create a traditional relationship where a woman can afford the luxury of having more time for her family without that modern rush and part-time care. It would be great to save some old family values even though the whole world seem to be rushing elsewhere.
Well, that's the short story about my dreams... It's supposed to be simple and clear, however I often hear that I seek something that's impossible to find. The nay sayers say my perfect relationship is well in the past, in legends, fairy tales and movies. They say men and women have changed their roles a long time ago. They say I shouldn't care about anything but a career now. But you know what, I still have my tiny hope to meet someone to share my dreams with...
